Anyone who knows me well, knows that I’m not a huge fan of poetry – most of the time I don’t understand it…Except for Robert Frost.
As I sat down to write this, the line from one of my favorite poems of his: Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening popped into my head – miles to go before I sleep. That line is as true for me now as it ever has been.
The month long rewrite class for the screenplay (recently renamed Worlds Away) is wrapping up and of course the story is in much better shape than it was three weeks ago (funny how editing works) – and then I launch into another month-long intensive pitch program to hopefully get some positive attention.
But, in the back of my mind is the novel (and screenplay) for Rebel Yell. Every time I think I’ve edited it to a good place, I send it off somewhere for critique and realize I have miles to go before I sleep.
I am ready for a short nap though!
