In Memory's Wake, a girl wakes up in a strange magical land with no memories at all. She dresses and thinks in modern ways, and things like magic just seem wrong, but she can't work out why. Within her first moments, she sees another girl casting spells, a strange savage man, and a dragon that attacks them. Yikes! Talk about a recipe for a major freak out.
