Character Spotlight: Isaac Sawyer
Howdy to you all and hope you’re having a wonderfully blessed day!
Ruby Mae here! As you know, my most recent novel, Seeking Refuge, was just released; so exciting! My last post featured the heroine of the novel, Joyce Watson. Today, I’m gonna introduce you to the hero, Isaac Sawer. Any of you who have read Hidden Treasures, book one in my Faith in the Valley series, then you know Josiah Sawyer is one of twelve children in his family. Isaac is the eldest of the twelve and Seeking Refuge is his story. So without further ado, please meet, Isaac Sawyer!
Isaac Sawyer lives a great life. He lives on a beautiful guest ranch in his hometown of Cascade Valley, TN with his wonderful family. He’s the sheriff of the small valley town and he loves his job. Most importantly, he has a great God Who loves and cares for him and he returns that love wholeheartedly and it shows through his deep faith in Christ. Yes, despite having his heart broken once by a woman fearful of his job title, Isaac lives a great life.
That day started about the same as any other. He’d just gotten out of work, ready to head home and relax with family, when he noticed a woman parked next to his cruiser, her head against the steering wheel. Was she hurt? He knocked on her window, jumping back in surprise when she jerked away with a start. He’d scared her, but what was she doing here?
Time proves the pretty stranger is hiding something–or from something. But what he doesn’t know–but he’s determined to find out. The fear he sees in her beautiful blue eyes tugs at his heart, causing a longing to help her. But Joyce doesn’t trust him; that much is clear. Can he earn her trust before her fears become a reality?
