Letter from Adam Smith to Dr William Cullen blasting doctors and all medical monopolies

Dr Cullen had written to Adam Smith seeking his opinion on proposals from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.  The petition suggested that doctors should be graduates, they should have attended university for at least two years and that they should present themselves for examination.
