Awesome Hero’s Journey With a Great Ending!
Give Taylor Caley just a little time to set the table for this banquet and you will NOT be disappointed! Once Alex begins his adventure, the pace quickens, the suspense builds, and the combat begins. Alex, an outsider to a fierce group of warriors, must at first remain alive, slowly earn trust, and develop his skills in ancient combat techniques to prove his worth.
The final sequence of battles is very well constructed, researched, and described in exquisite detail. This book has an excellent, highly satisfying ending that has left me hungry for the next installment.
If you like a hero’s journey, good old fashioned blood and sword combat, and well developed characters with deep motivations, this is the book for you.
