Book Update: What I’m Writing and What Book I Will Be Releasing In Late 2017

It seems like ages since I’ve last updated this blog post, and I sincerely apologize for that. Life has been somewhat both slow and hectic at the same time for me this year. It’s a weird combination, I know, but that’s just how I feel. I don’t know, maybe it’s the You Rooster (2017 year) clashing with Mao Rabbit in the hour pillar in my Bazi chart that causes me to feel this way.In Bazi, the hour pillar represents one’s internal thoughts and thinking. Not only that but the Mao Rabbit is a Yi Wood element, and in relation to the 10 Gods, that to me is the SELF-element, which is ME. Since it’s a clash, my thoughts, thinking, and confident has taken a big hit, hence I find that I don’t have much confidence in my idea as I write. Another word, I have doubt in myself. It can’t be helped. When you go through it, you feel it. I’m just hoping that this isn’t going to continue because I will be changing into a new luck pillar soon. Currently, I’m in the Geng Shen (Monkey) luck period. In mid-2018, I will be going into the Xin You (Rooster) luck period and that Rooster is a clash to the Rabbit in my hour pillar. However, at least I know it’s not going to be as bad as what I went through in the last 10 years during the Shen luck pillar. That’s why during that period whatever I do, and this includes anything that I’ve written and the books that I’ve released, it doesn’t go anywhere. It’s like two step forward and five steps back. To say that it’s frustrating is an understatement. My life during those 10 years would surely put a crazy soap opera TV series to shame. Trust me, shit happening is real life is far worse than some make-believe TV drama with all the craziness going on.Anyway, the reason why I haven’t been able to do a blog post regularly or reply to messages from you guys, my wonderful fans, is that I haven’t been well in these last few months. My health has taken a big hit for the last two years. However, the last few months have been the worst. It’s possible that I might have some sort of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I don’t know. I mean I’m always feeling tired. There are muscle and joint pain. No matter how long I sleep, I never feel refreshed. And then there’s the lack of concentration. I mean if you can’t concentrate, there goes the writing, right? If you can’t write, where’s the story and book going to come from?Anyway, I’m off to see the doctor this Friday to get this fatigue thing sorted out once and for all. Whose know? I might just have Vitamin D deficiency, that’s all. I mean living in Dunedin, New Zealand, there’s always a lack of sunshine, especially in winter. I might just get a few Vitamin D pills and be sorted. LOL!So now about my books update.First off, I sincerely apologize for delaying Sakura again. I have to admit that coming back to write her and the Princeton brothers’ story after taking so long off is hard. Also, I am in a dilemma where I have no idea which brother I want to give Sakura to. Okay. There. I admit it. I have no idea which brother I want Sakura to end up with. And that is the second reason why I find it difficult to finish the book.Currently, I’m trying to finish my young adult fantasy, which is The Blood Alchemist Chronicles Vol. 1. Once I’ve finished writing that, which is hopefully today or tomorrow, then I will continue with Sakura, which I’m hoping to finish by mid-September. Editing will take another month and a bit and by then it will be November. So Sakura release date will either be in November or early January of 2018.While I’m writing Sakura, I will continue to write Chained to You, Vol. 6 (the last book) as well. Hopefully, this will be done by mid-September, too, and be released by early November of this year (2017). After that, I will then write Chained by Love, which will hopefully be released in early of 2018. This is my plan for now. I know that a few people are waiting for me to continue with A Demon’s Wrath story. I haven’t forgotten about that series. Believe me, I love the series because I love fantasy with strong romance element and will continue to write it, although I won’t be able to start writing it again until late 2018.Also, I just want to apologize to those who have messaged me via my website and I haven’t reply. Please know that I do get several of these and that I do read them. It’s just replying takes me a bit longer because as a self-published author, I’m a one-man band where I do everything, and I mean everything, myself. I don’t just write the books, but I make my own book covers, design my own website, and a ton of other minor stuff like accounting for tax purposes (don’t want to get into trouble with the law), and book marketing (although I don’t do a lot of that because I suck at it and there’s no point at the moment because of the bad 10-years luck). Anyway, it’s a self-employed sort of work and you get my meaning.Because I mentioned book cover, I just want to tell you guys a bit about that here. I’m currently working on some new book covers for Sakura. The first book, A Secret Kiss, will have a different picture to the current one. I think it suits Sakura’s character better. To me, the girl looks more Asian, since Sakura is half Asian and half American, after all. The second book (A Secret Proposal) will have the old picture of the girl in gold. I think a lot of people liked that one better than the current one. And the third (A Secret Affair) will have the same picture that is currently shown in the iBooks store for pre-order, although the font setting will be different. Overall, I have two versions each of these three covers and is hoping you guys can help me pick one version for the final product. My sister suggests I use one for iBooks, Google Play, Kobo, and Smashwords (it goes to Barnes and Noble) and the other for Amazon and Amazon paperback version. I'm thinking of doing that for now but will ask for you guy's advice nearer to the paperback version re-release date, which is in October. ^_^Alright, that’s it for now. I’ll keep you guy posted again soon. ^_^
