Happy 2018!

I'm always optimistic at the beginning of a new year. I joined the reading challenge again. I read 48 books last year (and reviewed every one)! This year my reading challenge is for 45. Happy reading to everyone! There's nothing like getting lost in a good book...

I've had an idea percolating in my head for quite a while for a new book. Hopefully, I'll be able to begin it soon, though I'm feeling discouraged with lack of sales for my other books. They all get mostly good reviews (4 and 5 stars), so what's the deal? Is it the covers? The genres? Being an indie author isn't for wimps.

I entered 2 of my books in the Wishing Shelf Awards and plan to enter 2 more in another awards competition this year. Maybe that will get them some attention.
