The Humor Challenge 2017 and 2018

Well, I tallied 14 books on my humor challenge shelf last year.

I definitely succeeded at my Cartoonist goal -- with Baking With Kafka, if nothing else -- but I had a hard time deciding what counted as humor. I personally didn't think Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood was funny (it was excellent, just not funny) but I kept reading reviews that proclaimed it hilarious. So. My judgment on these things is evidently questionable.

I'll go ahead and sign up for Jamie's 2018 Humor Challenge -- again at the Cartoonist level -- and we'll see if I get a better grasp on the subject.

Stina I finished a funny book! My Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel is a grown-up, steamy, tongue-in-cheek (and all sorts of other places) take on the CYOA format.

Awesome, thanks! I'm at 9 books so far for this year, so I'll try for the Humor Columnist level in 2019.
