Oh, my lovely Perverts!
I can’t wait for you to meet Ollie. He’s going to make you laugh and break your heart and then he’ll make you cheer. I love broken boys almost as much as I love fixing them. Ollie and Wes are my new happy place and I think you’re going to fall so hard. Here’s an excerpt:
“What’s all this?” Ollie asked as his neck craned so he could peek in Wes’ bags. He was already in his robe and his eyes immediately locked on the bags when he opened the door.
“I made dinner,” Wes said and Ollie flinched. Wes wouldn’t describe him as picky but he had some very strong hang-ups when it came to food and he was still in the process of learning them.
“I didn’t know you knew how to cook,” he said and Wes raised a shoulder.
“I guess it never came up in an interview or none of my fans figured it out,” he offered then gave Ollie a pointed look. “Can I come in?” He asked and Ollie’s nose wrinkled.
“What is it?” He asked and it was more “What’s in the boooox?” than was really necessary.
“How do you feel about Jonny Marzetti?” Wes asked and Ollie’s eyes flicked upwards.
“That’s not ringing any bells but I can’t think of a Johnny off the top of my head that I wouldn’t want to punch in the face right now,” he said and Wes wished his hands weren’t full, he really wanted to kiss him.
“It’s the name of a casserole with meat, pasta and cheese,” he laughed and Ollie became concerned as he leaned over the threshold.
“What sort of pasta?” He asked as his eyes drilled into Wes’. He was distressed and Wes frowned as he leaned back.
“Rotini,” he said cautiously and Ollie’s eyes became endless as he blinked at him.
“Is that anything like spaghetti?” He asked warily and Wes shook his head.
“No. You don’t like spaghetti? There’s a tomato sauce in this,” he said as he looked in the bag and Ollie waved dismissively then grabbed Wes’ arm.
“That’s fine. I don’t like spaghetti, especially when people eat it on plates. It stresses me out,” he explained as he pulled Wes through the door and shut it behind him.
“It stresses you out?” He asked as Ollie grabbed a bag handle and hauled Wes to the dining table.
“Spaghetti has no structure, it just slides and leaks all over the place. Only an asshole would serve that on a plate. And the noodles…” He flailed his hand as his face twisted. “They’re awful! Nothing sticks to them and they fall the fuck off your fork constantly and slide off your plate,” he explained as he became agitated and Wes grabbed his shoulders.
“I will burn all the spaghetti factories down to the ground. Jesus, relax,” he said and Ollie’s cheeks puffed out before he nodded.
“I think I should go smoke a little more,” he said as he pointed over his shoulder at the patio. “I got in about fifteen minutes before you arrived with your church lady casserole. I can still remember too much of my day,” he said and Wes offered him a wide smile.
“That’s a great idea! I brought everything, I’ll make our plates and bring them out,” he said and Ollie hummed thoughtfully as he leaned against the patio door.
“I don’t know how this works but I assume I have to put out if you cooked,” he teased and Wes accidentally tossed the plastic cutlery as he swung around.
“You really don’t!” He insisted then squeezed his eyes shut. “I mean, you never have to feel obligated. I won’t be disappointed or offended if you just want to hang out or maybe just lay on the couch and fool around without it having to be a whole…” He gestured vaguely and Ollie’s eyes widened expectantly as he waited. Wes’ lips pulled tight as he silently screamed for Ollie to jump in and say anything that would open a window so they could finally talk about it. Instead his brows rose higher and higher as his head tilted more and more. Wes rolled his eyes as he waved for Ollie to go on. “I’ll be right out,” he said dismissively and Ollie looked confused as he backed through the door.
“Are you all right?” He asked and Wes laughed as he threw his hands up.
“I honestly don’t know but go on, I’ll be right out.”
