I have huge news!
After a couple years of working on this comic I had to admit to myself that how I write, draw, and pace, not to mention the early decision to run M&B as a landscape format comic, lends itself much better to a physical book. Meat&Bone should be read in a sitting or two in a format where scrolling isn’t an issue.
And in 2019, it’s going to happen.
I’ve signed a deal with Conundrum Press, the publisher of my previous graphic novel TOWERKIND, for a Meat&Bone book to launch at TCAF 2019! I’ve talked about it a bit on twitter, but Meat&Bone has been wrapping up for a bit now - if things keep on track, it will be done online this summer.
So what does that mean for the webcomic? I want to be fair to the readers who’ve supported me so far, but I also want people to buy this book when it comes out, since it’s pretty much the only revenue I’ll see for years of drawing. I’m going to continue updating M&B with lineart through its conclusion, and then the comic will remain online until Jan 1st 2019. After that, I’m going to focus on promoting the book! I do have some ideas for long-time readers, but you’ll hear about that when I make a decision.
The final book will be about 350 pages in full colour, with a new intro, corrected artwork, and all the bells and whistles.
I hope you’re as excited as I am!

Meat and Bone will take a hiatus from the 23rd to the 1st, with the next page updating on the 2nd. Happy Holidays! Yo ho ho and all that.
