Final Day for Action Game Raji: An Ancient Epic on Kickstarter

Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action adventure game currently seeking funds through Kickstarter, and it’s currently the final day of the campaign.

Raji: An Ancient Epic follows a young girl named Raji who is chosen by the gods to fight against a demonic invasion, while also trying to rescue her brother. It is set in ancient India, with hand painted environments inspired by the medieval architecture of Rajasthan.

It’s an action adventure game that features melee combat and elemental attacks, with customization for your abilities. It also includes some puzzles.

Raji looks pretty good, but it’s still at only around 50% of its funding goal at the time that I’m writing this. Just over 24 hours remain in the Kickstarter campaign, so it will need a lot of support in the final day to meet its goal.

Since there is a demo available through Steam, I downloaded it to give it a try. In the trailer, Raji’s gameplay seemed like it might be slow, but it actually feels quite good. The customization is limited since it’s a demo, but I look forward to seeing what the options are in the full game.

Aside from one point where the demo glitched and I had to restart (from a very forgiving checkpoint, so I barely lost any progress), it played well and felt smooth.

I recorded it, but I had trouble uploading the video. If I ever get it ready, I’ll include it here.

Anyway, if you like the sounds of a demon-fighting action game set in ancient India, head over to the Kickstarter page for Raji: An Ancient Epic and take a look!
