Consuming the little ones

Mrs. Siebold rushed to the door and seeing flames instructing her students to open the windows but they would not budge as Mrs. Siebold, her student aid June Muhaney and other students would break the windows with their hands as smoke and flames quickly spread through the building other students rushed towards the door as the flames rushed in consuming the little ones seeking freedom.

Mrs. Siebold love helped save the lives of 24 children this disastrous day in 1954 taking two years to recover from her own burns continuing on.

The music came alive again as she returned teaching stringed instruments to elementary school children and establishing the Cleveland Hill Elementary School Orchestra when it was not fashionable to teach the young difficult music.
