October's Lit Asylum

[image error] Hi all!!! As some of you already know, I have been honored to be invited to participate in an online literary magazine. October is the second edition and I have three pieces in it! I am pleased to provide the link: Lit Asylum. I have a fun column about rubbers (or lack of them) in contemporary romance novels and a tribute to my favorite woman in history, Amelia Earhart. I also got the honor of reviewing the Indie book of the month: Color My Horse.

But don't stop there!! Please check out the articles by my talented friends, Carol Jean, India, and Michele. Are you retreating from the disappointments in life by sticking your nose in a YA book? Meet a grand dame of historical fiction who is now going digital. Do you like your HF accurate or is it all about pretty woman in pretty dresses? Discuss it on Carol Jean's column.

Happy reading and Happy October!

Tara Hey, I actually did once edit a romance novel where the couple used condoms! The only one, though, and from then on, it bothered me when I did not see them used in other books ... congrats on the publications.

Tara Chevrestt I am pleased to say, in A Facebook Affair, the couple practices safe sex. Lol

Lance Greenfield Excellent! You are going up in the world, Tara, and leaving me far behind. I'd better get to work on catching you up.

I have to say that you definitely deserve your successes.

Tara Chevrestt Lance, you really need to submit your stories to Breathless. I'm not telling you again!!! Take them off of a gr.. we'll work on a query, and you submit them things!

message 6: by Lance (new)

Lance Greenfield OK, OK. Stop nagging me, mi amiga!

Step 1: I have removed them from GR.
Step 2: I will submit them to Breathless.

I need the benefit of your experience. What format should I use? RTF, DOC, PDF, ......? Should I add any notes or summary? Should I add a copyright note? Anything else?

Lance Greenfield I was thinking of using a nomme de plume too. How do I do this with Breathless?

Tara Chevrestt Well, your manuscript has a cover page. It would say Title and under that, your pen name of choice, under that, your real name and contact information.
