New blog--yes, really

I finally have a new blog up! Here is the link. For some diabolic reason, the links within the blog text are not working correctly, so I will try to resolve that problem. I'd wager that the great majority of my grey hairs are computer-related. http://sharonkaypenman.com/blog/?p=680

Sharon Mission accomplished. The links now work. I hate computers sometimes.

Iset I have an unrelated link that people may enjoy. Here is footage of a parhelion - just like the 'three suns in splendour' that appeared over the Battle of Mortimer's Cross.

Amy Oh, I am not familiar with Dana & her work. I will have to add her books to my ever-growing "want to read" shelf.

On another note, I am getting to the end of The Reckoning. In The Sunne in Splendor, I knew how Richard died and so I knew (somewhat) what to expect. I don't know a lot about earlier times, so the Welsh princes trilogy is KILLING me. Gaaaaah, historical fiction!

Sharon For what it's worth, Amy, I just hate killing off characters I've come to care about. But history doesn't offer us many happy endings, does it?

message 5: by Amy (new)

Amy I can't imagine writing it... All through Sunne I was dreading reading the Bosworth battle.

message 6: by Sharon (new)

Sharon it took me three weeks, Amy, to get Richard out of his tent and onto the battlefield!

message 7: by RJay (new)

RJay If it took you 3 weeks to get Richard out of the tent, it took me a month to read of his demise. Just couldn't face it! I've spoken with others of your fans who experienced the same. Good luck with writing the battle scene and happy holidays!
