The value of storytelling

We know they're fun, they pass the time, they transport us to times and places that we've never seen (and will/could never see), but now it appears that stories have a real social value.

This report on the IFL Science website about research at UCL suggests that storytellers help bind communities together. That's something humans have always needed help with, and perhaps now more than ever. So, the time is right to enjoy a good story.
