“In The Flames The Children Would Cry!”

Wondering the gravel roads deep in the wilderness of Possum Trot we came upon a tombstone so unique honoring a building in the silence of the day as Shellie and I walked the foundation of this building that once was.

Unaware of a story that would take us from Piney Township Missouri to another state so far away; this death of a building called Cleveland School House in honor of President Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) with beer cans strewn upon this sacred land as if to speak tears into our hearts of a story; the story of the dead saying---
