This may just sound like static to you. Nothing to hear, nothing to remark upon. But it's what's missing that is causing me to post this. Maybe this is just a case of "nothing to see here", but who knows?
This was recorded just now from the UVB-76 feed. Now, usually when you listen to this, you hear a constant rhythm of buzzing, each buzz lasting for around a second with maybe 1.5 seconds of dead air between. Sometimes you can hear stuff in the background, such as faint voices in the background. There is the extremely rare occasion of the buzzing stopping and a voice speaking directly over the feed. The voices have, in the past, read strings of numbers and names, none of them making much sense.
At this moment, even as I type this, the buzzing is gone, leaving just static. Maybe this means nothing, but that buzzing is a constant. To have it suddenly stop is a rather curious thing indeed.
I'll leave it, for now, as nothing, as this static has been going on for nearly twenty minutes now. I'm recording the feed, so if something comes up, a voice or something, I'll have it on record and I'll post it. So far it's simply nothing but static. Nothing remarkable.
Basically, my reasoning for posting this stems from curiosity. I like listening to this in the hope that something remarkable will happen. The signal has been broadcasting longer than I've been alive and the instances of odd things occurring over the frequency are few and very far between. The idea of chancing upon the stream and having something odd occur is rather fascinating.
