Book Review: Minotaur

Sir Arthur Evans is known for his excavation of the temple complex at Knossos and the introduction of the ancient Minoans to the modern world. He was a complicated, contradictory man who did lots of amazing things. This biography of him, written by a modern archaeologist who specializes in the Minoans, is fascinating and enlightening.
