And Now, For Something Completely Different…’Calum G. Fearing Presents The Unexpected’.

My newest publication, while not exactly Historical Fiction, has historical elements to it. One story takes place at the end of The War Between the States, and one has a connection to The American Revolution. All of the stories in this collection, whether ghost stories or sci-fi, revolve around suspense and ‘the unexpected’. These stories are presented by another creation of mine, Mr. Calum G. Fearing. Read more about him…

“Some would say that Calum G. Fearing is much like Rod Serling…if Rod Serling was an elderly, slightly mad Scotsman that actually believed ‘The Twilight Zone’ was a real place.”                                  -C.G. Faulkner

Calum G. Fearing was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. After being raised there in an orphanage that Charles Dickens once called ‘worse than anyplace even I could have imagined ‘, Calum attended University in Transylvania, Romania. Following the untimely demise of his beloved wife, he then immigrated to the United States, spending several years in Salem, Massachusetts and Castle Rock, Maine before finally settling in a supposedly haunted cabin in the North Georgia Mountains.

He claims to be, or have been, good friends with Alfred Hitchcock, Rod Serling, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, R.L. Stine and, in a previous life, H.P Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe. He also enjoys the art of Salvador Dali.

He hopes you are given a good case of the creeps by these stories.

He’d also like you to know that the ‘G’ stands for Grotesque. It was on the name tag pinned to him when his parents abandoned him, and he likes it.
