BYE BYE, OCTOBER.

It was a busy final week.

I haven’t been able to write as much as I would have liked to, but here I am, catching you up!

Just a few days after my birthday, it’s Felix birthday, as well as the pugs’ birthday. Coincidence? No, not really.

When we got Maya, the owner didn’t know her date of birth, so Felix decided that we should celebrate her birthday on the same day. Then Edgar came along, and the same thing happened.

So Felix is now 28, Maya is 12, and Edgar is 7.

My ‘home line’ came out, I’m so happy with how everything turned out: all of my sketches came to life so well! I had been working on this line for a very long time; finding the right people took months, but I’m glad I didn’t rush it.

Then Halloween arrived. This year we kept it pretty low key, but it was nice that way as both Felix and I were more than happy to spend a relaxed evening with friends. We still dressed up, which was fun, and watched a horror movie.

We let Felix pick the movie… he chose Rumpelstiltskin. Ehm. Not the best. Haha.

On the 1st, Jack and Signe invited us to check out the fireworks. It was freezing outside, but the show was very pretty, and there was a fun fair as well, and great food stands!

That brings us to yesterday, which is when I went to the hairdresser to get my hair pink, as well as attended the opening of the ice rink at the Royal Pavilion.

I got an invite long ago, so I asked PJ and Sophie and Jack and Signe if they wanted to join. They were all up for it!

If you have watched my vlog from last year, you know that I attempted to ice skate for the first time and I was terrified. I was still very scared yesterday, but the ice rink was less busy and all my friends were super supportive, so I felt more and more confident and had a great time! Still pretty afraid, but I’m pretty happy with the little improvement I made.

It was a great start of the month!
