Brandon, given the chance and the choice, who would be the horror icon would you work with for a potential horror comic or something: Clive Barker, John Carpenter or Wes Craven? (not Eli Roth because he's horrible)

This is the easiest question I’ve ever answered.

I have no strong feelings about

Wes Craven’s work.( I keep meaning to watch the Dream Warriors Nightmare on Elmstreet movie)

I mostly dislike Del Toro’s work (I think his stuff tends to look good– but Hellboy, and Blade 2 were SoooOOoo bad- I do enjoy calling Pan’s labyrinth -Pants

labyrinth tho.

I like Clive Barker’s stuff, Hellraiser is great & I like his interviews and drawings.

but I LOVE Carpender’s work.

(here’s an old Jack Burton drawing I did.

I know there’s been comics of of Big Trouble and Snake Plissken. Shirow even threw a Snake cameo into Appleseed (see how the patch is on the wrong side because the page was flipped for English readers)

I bet my old Prophet bra Giannis would do an amazing Snake comic.

I read that his Ghosts of Mars was possibly a reworked

Escape From Mars– Which I think could make a real fun comic. …”welcome to the human race…”

Also you could do some pretty cool stuff with They Live. Maybe even something corny like a comic that comes with glasses that allow you to see the subliminals behind the ads.

Or a follow up to the movie, with humanity at war with aliens that have taken over the world. It could be interesting to show life after humanity learned of the alien’s existence. With them still in power and much of humanity still going along with it– with alien tech more integrated into normal use.
