Sophie❤️ Not sure I'm an Enormous book nerd, perhaps a medium one. I found your article interesting. I have not read any of Nabokov's books but had done some research awhile ago about Highsmith. I too like to know all about an author, especially if its my book group pick or i really like their books i tend to read ALL their books.

Highsmith is just as fascinating as her books, if not more. I mean collecting snails and travelling with them, putting them on the dinner table when bored at dinner parties. She didn't like to eat, smoked and drank too much. Was a womaniser, liar, racist, amongst other things. Wasn't very well liked. There should be a movie about her.
