Add Another Bookstore

I visited a relatively new bookstore this past weekend, one which I have been wanting to visit all summer and just never had the time to drive to the city of Russellville, Arkansas. The store is in old downtown--a building that was once a clothing store, a music store (Sound Investments) I regularly visited as a teenager, and a record store called The Electric Moo that was run by Dan and Marci that I also used to hang at and purchase LPs back in the day.

Now, Dog Ear Books resides in the building and it is a wonderful bookstore that's both clean and spacious. They have an area for author signings, readings and even an open mic night. I spoke with a couple of people there, including Pat Young and another local author. Unfortunately, I don't recall her name at the moment.

Dog Ear Books is now one more place where you can pick up The Undead Ate My Head and Of Monsters & Madmen.

Beyond that, two novellas have the cover art being worked on, I signed another contract for another anthology, and The Mad Visions of al-Hazred (Alban Lake Publishing) anthology is due out in 10 days. (Nov. 1, 2017). The book will contain my short story "Dark Messiah" for my version of what drove al-Hazred mad and prompted him to write what would become The Necronomicon. Lovecraft fans should love this new anthology.

Happy Halloween!
