Another year, another birthday party!

Yesterday was my birthday, which happened to fall on a Saturday, giving me the perfect chance to spend the weekend away.

I rented an airbnb, invited some friends, and celebrated my 25th birthday!

Felix and I arrived in this lovely converted property on Friday night, so that on the 21st, we would be there before the guests, to have the time to decorate the place.

Felix made me pancakes and gave me a little gift with the sweetest card.

The weather has been insane for the entire day: sunny, then windy, then pouring rain. On repeat. But I did spot a rainbow, which was cool.

I set everything up in the afternoon. People started arriving at 5pm, and we planned to spend the night in the house all together.

It was a very chilly day, so we made a cosy fire.

We spent the evening playing board games and watching a horror. Dan and Phil gifted us their board game ‘Truth Bombs‘, which is incredibly funny! We played the OG version of this years ago at PJ’s house, actually. So cool to see this turned into a board game!!

Felix managed to get me a birthday cake made- it was pretty last minute – and it tasted great. It was massive.

It was so much fun having all these amazing people under the same roof for a night, and the fact that they were willing to come all the way to Rye (1.5/2 hours away) made me feel special and extremely grateful.

It was a wonderful birthday.
