Exhibition to Be Staged for First Time in Bulgaria

Sofia – The “Switzerland: Nature and Innovation” exhibition is to be present for the first time before Bulgarian audience. Its 60 photos are described by the organiser as “a penetrating look of Switzerland”. The event will be unveiled on Monday by Swiss Ambassador in Sofia Denis Knobel and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova. It is organised by Swiss Embassy here and the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Comers. The exhibition takes place within the Days of Switzerland in Sofia (September 8-15) which are also organised for the first time.

The exhibition will also present the Bulgarian-Swiss Corporation Programme and the Helvetia Cube art installation. Tasting the Bulgarian farm food will take place at Hilton Hotel.

These events and the Days of Switzerland in general present the country outside the trivial cliches and familiar images and reveal a less familiar dimension of the current bilateral relation and the Bulgarian-Swiss cooperation, the organizers said.
