My parents were given

to me

I was given to them.

Love, life and respect

they gave and learned

me to have towards life.

I never wanted them

to worry about me

or be ashamed because of me.

It would not be fair

or honest; it was not

my wish.

They showed me a new way.

A beautiful and precious way.

It is gracious to be thankful.
