Overview of 'For the Love of Armin'

The Cherusci tribe were used to sending sons of the nobility to Rome for education and training. Armin and I did so and in return, he became a Roman officer, all the time learning their tactics which he used against the Romans with great effect. This is also the true love story of Armin whom Romans called Arminius and his wife, Thusnelda. After she was betrayed by her father for money, she became a slave. She was heavily pregnant when she was captured and she gave birth to her son called Thumelicus while in capivity. I time, her son became a gladiator who was winning fights, much to the dismay of Tiberius......
