Mark Tufo Week - Zombie Fallout, book 4: The End Has Come and Gone
When I first listened to this story, years ago, I thought it was fabulous. Now that I've re-read the book, I love it so much more! So much happened that I was left in stitches with eyes full of tears.Zombie Fallout 4: The End Has Come and Gone is even more neurotic and hilarious than the previous books. Mike's distaste for germs is constantly in the way, and his luck never seems to run good. Then there's BT, fighting to survive Tracy's driving, of all things. Oh, and then there's that chain-smoking Mrs. Deneaux! She's one of those characters you will always love to hate.
This book, or audiobook, shows you just how many jams the Talbots can get in and out of. The best part is, everyone doesn't make it. They lose people- some to serious tragedy- but you push on, just like the family, and Mike never quits.ZF4 dove into the background/relationship of Eliza and Tomas. You know their story and why Eliza is the way she is, but you find out so much more. You also learn what she expects from her brother. You take on a bit of the feels for all she endured, but you still don't like her. As for Tommy... judge for yourself.
I can tell you, you will laugh more than anything, mostly because of Mike and Durgan, a villain. OH and the ending is superb!
Check out book four, while I move on to book 5!
Cheers!
