An Author’s Random Musing: My Writing Buddies
In my time on this blog, I don’t think I’ve ever introduced you to my furry writing friends. And by friends, I mean little distractions who try to demand all of my time.
[image error]This is Skidz. He enjoys sleeping on my laptop and interrupting me when I’m trying to work. In this picture, he still has his right ear. Since this picture was taken last fall, he was hit by a car and lost his one ear. He walks with a limp now, but he’s doing fine. In fact, Skidz likes to use his unique look to get as much attention as possible.
Oh, and he likes to chew on cords of all manners.

This wide eyed cat is Muddy. Well, technically her full name is Princess Mudflap the ninja Kitty. What can I say, we’re not letting my brother name our pets anymore. Muddy has a nervous disposition and doesn’t like to hold still for pictures, so this fuzzy picture is the best I can do of her.

Which brings us to the mother of the previous two cats. This is Chewie, short for Chewbacca. She is so named because when she showed up at my family’s house, she was just a kitten and had the habit of chewing on ears. She is a long-haired cat with attitude and most times she sits and stares at me with her judgmental eyes.
So, these are my cats. They’re fun and super distracting, but I love them!
