M.K. Love this, Deborah. But then I'd miss out on all the fun of researching and writing!

C.R. Misty A famous Thriller Author comes to mind when I hear about this. He had 20/20 or Dateline interview. He has teams of ghost writers helping write his brand of books, and that's how he constantly has multiple book releases in a year not to mention hitting the top 100 often.
I don't know how I feel about it. It's almost like cheating your way to the top, for the buyer but then again his readers know exactly what they are getting (they know ghost writers are helping) If I turn the tables on myself and was made an offer, I would want to be included on the activities and receive credit for my work.
It would be really hard to let my work go.
I hope your Author friend received a fair payment for his creation and hopefully mention as a creator.
