Writing prompts to kick-start your muse.

I love October. It’s that spooky time of year to get our freak on decorating with pumpkins, witches, cats, and skeletons. We parade around in our devil horns demanding pumpkin spice lattes like zombies. *shivers* We watch horror movies and Halloween flicks. We revel in the unexplained, the mysterious, the downright scary. We celebrate death with whimsical costumes and candy. Dude…we’re kinda morbid.
So to capitalize on the fun, I give you the first of creepy prompts. Who is she and who is she running from? The typical sorority girl and serial killer? Unarmed sheriff and the convict she recently put away? Weary traveler and deranged child with red hair and farmer coveralls? Does she attract unsavory spirits? What happens if she does? Do they terrorize her or protect her? Does she even get away with her life?
Share your ideas and/or post your creations, even if it’s just a line or two. I’d love to hear them.
