Hi everyone,
Next month I start teaching the "Writing Popular Fiction" course at the University of Toronto. It's an honor to be part of this program and I'm looking forward to it immensely. This is a course at the School Of Continuing Studies and is open to everyone and anyone who is interested. So if you want to sharpen your writing skills and learn more about what it takes to become a published author, I'll be your instructor!
https://learn.utoronto.ca/interactive...We'll be covering a lot of genres and the craft of writing over eight weeks. Pacing, plotting, characters, styles, dialogue, and proper research will all be covered in depth. I'll be teaching you about the book business too, providing you with all the tricks and tips I've picked up over the years to help you become the best writer you can be.
There are still spots available. I hope to see you in class!
Cheers,
J. Kent Messum
