I did have someone moan about the science in my science fiction book. She probably complains about the nuts in peanut M&Ms too! Thanks for the tip on keeping things in perspective.

thanks for the great Article Patti! Really morale boosting although I didn't get much of reviews.. You know one of the bad reviews I had which I still recall was on one of my poems posted on a a website called "Elite-skills.com" I wrote a piece and shared it and the first comment was "Who the hell told you that we want to read about you?"
Despite this is a bit rude.. But you know.. I kept that post, just for the sake of reminding myself that in life we have to encounter such situations!
And you know what.. You just inspired me to write something :)
Constructive comments are good because they help us to develop, but plain rudeness is just people trying to get off on putting someone down. People who are deliberately rude or who make really dumb comments are fair game to receive rude comments in return.
I am very glad to hear you say that Tarek! There are a lot of very rude people out there who obviously think that their opinion is somehow important to the rest of us. Some people I think like playing God! I agree Marie, constructive criticism is one thing, there is something very valuable that can be learned from that. Some criticism though is just plain nasty and the only thing that can be learned from is it that the person responsible for saying it isn't a very nice person. Or perhaps they have nothing better to do? I say be constructive not destructive!
Hi Patti,Just wanted to share with you the inspiration you bought me :) thanks
