My name is Irene Ziegler. In addition to being a writer, I am a house and petsitter, committed to providing superior long-term sitting services throughout northern California.
My services are customized to each client's wishes.I will care for your pets with the utmost regardfor their safety and welfare while paying particular attention toeach pet's individuality and needs.  
I am based in Richmond, VA, but travel to California (and around the world)  to offer my services. Here is an idea of what to expect: 
UNAVAILABLE DATES (updated daily)November 18 - 25, 2017May 20 -July 3, 2018
WHAT I DOFor your pet:Walk, feed, brush your pets on their schedules.Administer oral medication.Transport pet to appointments.Give them lots of attention and interaction.Send you photos and updates while you're away.
For your home:Take in mail.Maintain a clean home.Follow trash/recycling schedules, etc.Return a clean home to you as well as a healthy, happy pet.
WHAT I DON'T DOShort-term sits less than 2 weeks (unless I can combine sits.)Care for pets in a location other than your home.
WHAT YOU DOArrange for my pick-up/drop-off at the airport on our agreed dates, unless I am already in the area.  (I often piggyback my sits.)Leave a vehicle I may use while you are gone. I am reliable, trustworthy, and a good insured driver with an excellent record. If this gives you paws (see what I did there?), it's not a deal breaker. Let's talk.Provide written instructions, emergency contacts, and a back-up pet sitter for occasional relief.Contact my references! I want you to feel secure while you are away.
