Standing Naked with My Clothes On

I can stand naked in the middle of Times Square and I still wouldn't feel as naked as when I show you who I am! If someone honors you with the gift of their bare soul, cherish it. Don't use it against them. Don't take it for granted! Don't take advantage of it! Far too many people equate being naked in someone's presence as being intimate. That's not intimacy! True intimacy can only be obtained when both shed all of their pretenses, shed all of their emotional walls of protection, and allow each other to see every inch of their souls! If you find it easier to undress for them than to unmask for them, walk away! Either you're not ready for true intimacy, they're not the one you should be intimate with, or they're not worthy of the privilege.
