Totty Tuesday – Benedict Cumberbatch

Here's someone a little different for you for this week's Totty Tuesday! Now, I don't have a full on lusty crush on Mr. Cumberbatch (i.e. you probably won't see him appearing in any of my stories any time soon, but never say never!) but I can certainly appreciate his finer qualities.

Thrust firmly into the public eye by his appearance in the BBC's Sherlock (which is bloody good and I'm looking forward to the next series), Benedict Cumberbatch is definitely a rising star. He's been in other stuff of course (some of which I've seen, too, but I didn't realise until I just checked his IMDB page), but Sherlock definitely put him on the map.

He's since followed this up with a role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which I saw over the weekend. He has a fairly major role in the film and although his (and everyone else's) acting was superb, I thought the film was a real let down. It was incredibly slow paced and I sat there for much of it wondering if it was nearly finished – which I don't do very often. I'm not the only one either, I've never heard so much yawning and fidgeting in a cinema! Anyway, Benedict was pretty cute in this too – though his hair's better in Sherlock which is why I used this piccie. Enjoy!
