I want Self Checkout Machines in Kuwait!

One of the things I truly enjoy when I am abroad is the ability to pay for my own purchases without needing to stand in line waiting for a human cashier, especially if I have a few items to pay for.

Not everyone prefers self checkout machines but I truly do. If I see a self checkout machine I immediately head towards it. I just love it. I love the independent feel I get from scanning my own items and bagging them, paying and taking off in mere minutes. It goes with my irritable nature and keeps me on the move for there is nothing more I hate more than waiting unnecessarily for something as mundane as paying for my purchases.

I really want to see this advanced piece of technology here in Kuwait. Why not? We have Cinescape's Smart Card machines and more people are using them every day! Please tell me if your life hadn't become easier ever since they were introduced in the early 2000′s? Now why can't we have the same in, say, TSC? Or Carrefour? Geant?

Today on twitter TSC asked if there was something we would like to talk about and I said yes, I suggest they get Self Checkout machines like most advanced grocery shops abroad. They promised that the request will be sent to the management. Lets just hope and see if it does get implemented. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this dream to come true.
