RUNWAY REPORT.....New York Fashion Week: CALVN KLEIN by Raf Simons Spring 2018

WHAT: Calvin Klein Collection Spring/Summer 2018 Collection. New York Fashion Week is happening right now and Raf Simons (formerly of the House of Christian Dior) showed his collection for the iconic U.S. fashion house of Calvin Klein.

The collection was heavy on "Americana" with Western themes, lots of denim, cheerleaders, Andy Warhol prints of Dennis Hopper circa "Easy Rider" and some slight nods to "Game of Thrones" and "The Shining". The theme--Simons elaborated was loosely "American horror, American dreams"...









TRENDS: Denim; Western-inspired; Rubber/neoprene dressing; Cheerleader "Pom Pom" fringe; Raincoat Dressing.



COLORS: Canary Yellow; Wine; Denim Blue; Silver Blue; Red; Mauve.
