Interesting. My parents are from Quebec with my father being from Montreal. Unfortunately he passed away many years ago else I would ask him if he was familiar with the school. By the way thanks for the great stories. My 13 year old got the boxed set of the first Percy Jackson series a few Christmases ago as a gift from my sister (the one who is a teacher) and he has been reading your books ever since. He's gotten his 60+ years old father reading them as well and I keep telling his mother she should read them (she enjoyed Harry Potter so she should enjoy these as well).
That's amazing that it runs in the family! Like great-great grandfather, like great-great grandchild.
I now understand where your writing genes come from. Michael would be proud of your writing skills!
This was a very interesting peice of work. By the way, I'm 13 and I just satrted the third Percy Jackson bokk, The Titan's Curse.
I've read all the way up to The Blood of Olympus, 1 book in the Kane Chronicles, and 1 book from the Trials of Apollo
Rick, I've read all of your books and they are the best books I've ever read, every time a new one comes out I get exited. Thank you
That is fascinating! I love geneology, and have studied my family's history since I was a child. I'm a huge fan, Mr Riordan, thanks to my now 17 year old son, who was given your Percy Jackson series as a gift, and passed them along to me. I've since surpassed him in reading your series and intend to get to your adult works eventually; the kids series are just so much fun! Thank you for sharing.
That’s so cool! Maybe your next series could have something to do with Irish or Celtic folklore... even though this article is more about French culture.. speaking of writing do you think you’ll ever write another series about our heroes of Olympus or are their stories pretty much at the end of the road?
