New Adventure, More Trouble

Welcome to Sunday Blog Share. Today, on Everybody Reads YA, we’re going to be talking about the end of a series that’s a favorite of mine; one I’ve enjoyed writing for many years.
When we last left BD and his pals, they were coming down from the excitement of taking down a group of dirty, rotten Space Pirates. He’s finally come to terms with his dad’s betrayal and is ready for their next adventure.
Of course, he and the team must first deal with Missy Williams, a miniature BD. Just how is this all handled when a group of splifters, shoplifters, invade the station? Stay tuned and grab your copy today!

There's a new crew in town, Spacers Rule, and they are putting Canoples Investigations through the hoops. In the two weeks since BD and his group of intrepid investigators took on the space pirates and aided in incarcerating them on the prison barge, Fomalhaut, the station has turned against them. Now, they have to prove they have exactly what it takes to compete as security consultants on the new industrial stations under construction, stop spacers rule from stealing anything not bolted down. Then there's the little matter of contaminated codos and re-kats, and Missy. Oh, yes, Missy is still around, and she's four now, and determined to be a junior BD.

A whole week has passed since the volcano on Io erupted. My crew and I are chillin’ on the promenade. Absolutely nothing will disturb us today. Nope. Not a thing that has a chance of interrupting the planned exploration of the latest set of test scores for the pilot’s license that will be posted within the hour.
“What do you think?” Terry asks. “Did we pass?”
Cassie snorts. Even though we’re now officially a couple, I give her a sideways crooked look. So what if she passed that test the first time without breaking a sweat? We guys have to keep up our reputation of not being able to land with those silly rules in place.
We could have passed the second time, or the third. We didn’t have to take the test five times. Really, we could have done a lot better before now.

About K.C. Sprayberry
Born and raised in Southern California’s Los Angeles basin, K.C. Sprayberry spent years traveling the United States and Europe while in the Air Force before settling in northwest Georgia. A new empty nester with her husband of more than twenty years, she spends her days figuring out new ways to torment her characters and coming up with innovative tales from the South and beyond.
She’s a multi-genre author who comes up with ideas from the strangest sources. Those who know her best will tell you that nothing is safe or sacred when she is observing real life. In fact, she considers any situation she witnesses as fair game when plotting a new story.
