Ram Rahim Singh Not Insa | The Walk of Gods

Ram, Rahim and, Sat Guru planned a visit to the nation of their desires and greet the people supposed to continue their heritage and live up to the rules and morals based by them.

“They’re finally understanding my verdicts and have abandoned the things as I hoped they would,” said Rahim.

“Yeah, they’re finally on the way to give the female equal rights and power.” added Ram.

“That’s alright but’s what up with those posters and echoes of the names of all three of us one after another?” asked Sat

The chants of “Ram, Rahim, Singh Insan (human)” grew louder as people in group of thousands approved the road they were standing on. It was the noon of 25th August. The worst day they could have chosen to visit India. Sat wanted to first show them the land of the five rivers, Punjab where he once lived and chanted.

They thought that the humanity was finally united to give rise to humanity beyond diversity. “They’re doing something that we started. At last they have reached the equilibrium where they don’t need a figure as god but the morals.” Said Ram.

With glooming faces they continued their walk gazing with amazement on the developments of humanity. The cars, the beautiful architecture and the clean and peaceful environment was so relaxing that they never knew how they didn’t notice 3 hours pass by. “The police warriors with their advanced weapons are everywhere we went. A secure nation to live in is finally possible I guess” claimed Rahim breaking the silence.

The peace and security for their people that they were witnessing was the thing they’ve always wished and have even fought for. On the journey, they stopped in front of a building with around a million-people laughing, crying and shouting while being encircled by the police warriors. They went inside the building to find out what was happening. They were now used to not being seen by the mortals as it was now believed that only the ones doing work or sacrificing for the greater good can see the immortals like themselves.

As they entered the old building, they saw a room of not more than all sitting opposite to one who seemed mighty of all. The sitting arrangement with crowd divided into two groups seemed just like a king’s courtroom. All three of them smiled remembering the days when they sat opposite to people resolving their issues.

The one sitting at a seat which was higher than others stood at once on seeing the three immortals. They nodded towards him then at each other.

“What’s wrong?”, the man standing along that individual asked.

“Nothing, let’s continue the verdict”, he replied.

The three immortals took their seats and heard how the justice though delayed was finally being served without fear and hate. Their hope and confidence on humanity grew yet stronger.

“We should head back, I guess they finally don’t need any greater power to teach them the common good of humanity. Finally.”, said Rahim. The other two nodded and they moved towards the door outside long after the mortals have left already.

As they stepped outside what seems like a rag back of fire fell in front of them. It was a man on fire. Rahim put his hand on him. “He was a young fellow on the way home with food for his daughter. But he would only return in a small pot as nothing more than sand. Poor soul”, explained Rahim.

“That’s not all. Look over there”, said Ram.

Both Rahim and Sat looked where Ram was pointing to. Their eyes were widened by what they saw. Wherever they turned they saw burning vehicles, running people with sticks and stones in their hands being thrown at the police warriors who were trying their best to resist any attack. Confused by the resistance Sat asked, “Why are they not doing their jobs? These people need some good dose for the deeds they are doing.” The beautiful scenes and peaceful environment they were unable to stop talking about was nothing but hell now.

The other two remained silent. Sat started to walk and they followed him on the journey. They were large groups of people roaming around, burning, breaking and turning over everything and everyone in their ways. Not even the hospitals and schools were left unaffected of their actions. There was constant sound of sirens all around them coming ambulances and fire brigades some of which were on fire themselves. All three of them watched silently roaming not stopping their walk. The police offered minimum actions. Even with the great level of anger and anxiety visible to the immortals the still didn’t get any answer for their hesitation.

They flew above the ground to see the image more clearly and immediately regretted. They were able to hear sounds of fear, anxiety, tired reporters, worried police and mod with anger without base along with the sounds of dreams and hearts breaking. What they saw was just broken buildings, smashed objects, burnt vehicles and dead bodies.

Sat couldn’t take it anymore. He landed and drew his hand to comfort a dying man. Ram and Rahim put their hands on each of his shoulder and stopped him from doing so. Teared rolled down from his eyes, he fell on his feet. The land he knew. The land he had once lived in was no longer his now. He wished he had never came to this land in 2017.

They heard again the voices of “Ram Rahim Singh Insan” but they knew that there was nothing Insan about that Insane mob. In the mob was a confused child following what the adults were doing, still confused whether she have to shout like her father or throw stone like her mother. Sat removed the hands of his shoulder, ran towards her. She could see all three of them. Ram was going behind him but Rahim held his hand and told him not to. “You’re safe now Kavya”, he said as Sat sat beside her and carefully made a dark black cloth from his fist and tied it around the eyes of that girl. “The era of blindfolding our children is here”, he said.

“They may need us”, Ram said but they don’t know who we are. “But they don’t know who we are”, Sat added. “We’re no longer welcomed here.”, Rahim claimed.

All of them took each other’s hands and with a flash were gone with no intention to be back any soon.
