Things You SHOULD Buy at The Dollar Tree

If you're a seasoned Dollar Tree Shopper, you're probably already in the know about these items. However, if you've just started shopping there, you may start to realize that some things are not really that good of a deal. Some things you can actually buy cheaper at Walmart, Target, Walgreens etc.. 


However, this is a list of the items which you will just not find cheaper elsewhere. You should definitely purchase all of these things at The Dollar Tree if you have one near you. If you don't, they also actually have a website where you can purchase some items by the case with free shipping.


1. Seasonal Decorations - Decor for Halloween, Easter, Christmas etc falls into the cheapest here category. You can decorate your entire home, classroom or yard using just dollar items and some of them are so cute. You can also use their seasonal craft supplies to make decorations of your own.

2. Summer Floaties and Flip Flops - The Dollar Tree always has floaties and flip flops for kids and these are great deals since these are items that frequently go missing after only one summer.

3. Greeting Cards - Greeting cards are so expensive at other stores, running between $2.99 and $7.99 for a single greeting card! There is no reason to pay that much when most people just throw these away.

4. Party Supplies - Party decor for birthdays and other events are so cheap here. Buy balloons, streamers and other decoration items in standard colors or trendy kids themes.

5. Party Plates, Cups and Utensils - This is a great place to buy disposable plates, cups, and utensils no matter what you're using them for! You can get a package of 48 utensils for a buck!

6. Gift Bags - There is nowhere you can buy gift bags cheaper. You can get the most beautiful gift bags in all sizes and beautiful colors and themes for only $1. The little ones are sometimes 2 for $1!

7. Picture Frames - There are some frames at Walmart you can get for .98 Cents, however, they aren't nearly as nice as The Dollar Tree frames. Buy frames here, you can get all types of shapes, sizes, and styles. You can also buy frames and upcycle them with paint or other craft supplies to make them even cuter.

8. First Aid Supplies - Especially character band-aids! Unless you get a really good coupon deal, the cheapest place to buy bandaids and other disposable first-aid supplies is here.

9. Reading Glasses - You know you are going to lose them or break them eventually anyway. Reading glasses are very generic and you don't wear them all the time so who cares about style! Just buy them for a buck and don't worry when you leave them at a restaurant or grocery store counter.

10. Fidget Spinners and Fad Items - This is definitely the place to buy that fidget spinner or other fad items which are going to be used for a short time and then tossed away.
