How did you like working on that Adventure Time episode? Are you into storyboarding?

It was a fun experience. & by far the best time I had working in animation (I did some music videos and commercials years ago.) .

I found it very different from comics as far as storytelling and I was super lucky to be able to work with Jesse Moynihan. He brought so much emotional weight to the story that I wasn’t expecting.

But all that said, I have no idea if I’ll ever storyboard again. I prefer comics both in the process it takes to make them and the control you have over the finished thing. Another downside of animation is that you get less of a name working on something like that. I assume most people think of everything Adventure time as being Pen’s work.(not that Pen isn’t amazing– but he’s not the only one on the show) . It bums me out when I hear people quoting a Tom Herpich Joke without knowing who he is. (also anyone who dosen’t should read Tom’s comics– he’s one of my favorites)
