Book a day giveaway/Count down to Slayers
Hey, blog friends. It's time to count down the days until Slayers is released. You all have your Slayers decorations up and your greeting cards sent, right?
Here's the deal:
Leaving a comment on the CJ Hill blog will get you one chance.
Being a follower of the CJ Hill blog will get you two chances.
Announcing this give-away and or posting the cover of Slayers on your blog/facebook/ or twitter and telling your peeps that Slayers is coming out Sept 27 will get you three chances.
This is actual math, but I'm willing to do it.
Here's the blog address for you to go to so you can win an awesome book:
http://www.cjhillbooks.blogspot.com/
I'll post a picture and blurb about the book, take comments that day, then choose a winner that night when I go to bed. This is generally pretty late, but you never know, I might change my ways, so post early. I will try to contact you through your email, but if you don't have a contact through your blogging identity, you'll have to check every day to see if you won something.
Here's the schedule--you will notice that I am already behind, considering that I wanted to give away Slayers on the 27th. Yes, this is a reflection of either the difficulty I have with math or my general disorganization. I'm doubling up on the last day because of this.
Sept 18th paperback of All's Fair in Love, War, and High School
Sept 19th paperback of Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Free Throws
Sept 20th Hardback of Fame, Glory, and Other Things On My To Do List

Sept 22nd How to Take the Ex Out of Ex-boyfriend
Sept 23rd Hardback of Revenge of the Cheerleaders
Sept 24th paperback of Just One Wish
Sept 25th paperback of My Fair Godmother
Sept 26th Hardback of My Double Life
Sept 27th Hardback of My Unfair Godmother and a Hardback of Slayers
Sixteen-year-old Samantha Taylor is used to having things go her way. She's head cheerleader and has all the right friends and a steady stream of boyfriends. But when she tanks the SATs, her automatic assumptions about going to college don't appear to be so automatic anymore. She determines that her only hope for college admission is to win the election for student body president. Unfortunately, with her razor wit and acid tongue she's better suited to dishing out insults than winning votes.
When she brashly bets her classmate Logan that she can go two weeks without uttering a single insult, Samantha immediately realizes that she may have bitten off more than she can chew. And when her current boyfriend dumps her, less than three weeks before the prom, it couldn't be a worse time to be forced to keep her opinions to herself. Finding a new boyfriend will be a challenge now that Logan shadows her every move, hoping to catch her slipping back into her old ways. Samantha is determined to win the election and find a dream date for the prom, no matter what it takes. After all . . . all's fair in love and war (and high school!).
