Two souls dancing an aerial ballet

in the calm dappled light of misty dawn

flying and zooming without interplay

saying a farewell they can’t delay

as the zephyr breeze  plays a carillon

floating like balloons higher and higher

moving together feeling woebegone

 life has changed, the storms have gone

we are changing direction no more misfire

Floating apart as our balloons fly  higher 

in the cool dappled light of a misty dawn

leaving below loves funeral  pyre

happiness and regret,we no longer desire

new skies to fly, new places to belong
