The San Diego Padres’ no no-no streak reached 7,777 games on Tuesday evening on a third-inning Stephen Piscotty single off starting pitcher Clayton Richard.


The Padres continue their march toward the Mets’ mark of futility, which hit 8,019 games before Johan Santana no-hit the St. Louis Cardinals.
