Whether we believe in God or not, we are all in this together, and only small minds of indifference, hate, intolerance of others, fear of the unknown, and a sense of scarcity drive the insecure to seek vengeance on one another.  We are all the same under the skin.

Loving your enemies does not mean you are one with them, it only means you understand with empathy their intolerance to love others who are different.
