Anyone read the Loki series by C. Gockel? I’ve been listening to the books while at work. Nicely researched, fun but not trivial, twisting plots. Makes my heart ache even more for Loki, which I wasn’t sure was even possible. Great perspective on all the gods and has nice twists to the more well known tales. Includes mentions of other gods from other pantheons, especially other trickster gods. I’ve been greatly enjoying them and they make work more palatable.
Warnings for objectification, reference to rape or potential rape, ableist language, references to sex, adult language.
Kudos for racially diverse cast, smart ladies, elderly characters with significant roles, great characterization, fleshing Loki out to be more than the bad guy, unexpected plot twists.
