Email of the Week: 9/11 from a Soldier

In response, a flurry of emails. The most poignant came from a soldier's perspective. A powerful reminder that war is never a good thing. At times, it may be necessary, but it is never good.

 

Before I get into my view let me first say I love your show and never miss it. With that being said let me give my perspective (A Soldier's) on 9/11. I had about 5 years in the Army when 9/11 happened and as you can imagine it has changed my life, my world and my faith. Looking back now with 15 years, dead friends left in Iraq over 3 tours and one to Afganistan this fall, I will never be the same again.
