Elon Musk has proposed building a Hyperloop between Washington & New York.

Great post although I wonder what exactly a Hyperloop is. Is it a train? Or something else?

It's an underground magnetic levitated train in a 'vacuum' sealed tunnel. Hence no air resistance and very fast.
What if you accelerated the cars at >9G for 10 minutes or so? That would kill everyone aboard. Then a hyperloop train full of dead celebs and dignitaries arrives early. Who did it? Why? Can our hero solve the mystery in time to prevent war?
I'm reminded of roleplaying scenarios that briefly establish a theme, and then give the Game Master three (it's always three) different storylines he might follow.
